Ratings/stars do not appear in grid view

Question

This is a new problem (March 2025). I can apply check/flag and stars/ratings to photos, but I can't view ratings/flags in the grid view on my desktop (MacOS - up to date) as I could previously. I don't see "View Options" or any way of toggling this feature. It works perfectly fine on iOS on my iPad and iPhone.

What happened to the old days when you could report a bug to the company, as opposed to posting it to the community? I find this frustrating, given what I pay for the product.

I just looked at Lightroom Desktop version 8.2 on Mac OS 15.3.1 and the flags are present in the Square Grid. Note: They have never been available in the Photo Grid.

Are you looking at the wrong grid?

Toggle your Grid view by tapping the [ G ] key.
