Question

RAW photos showing as black and white when imported to Lightroom on iPad

I've been using Lightroom with no issues for a while. But last week the photos I shoot in RAW on my Olympus Em1 mk2 show in B&W when imported. The jpegs of the same shots show in colour, so this is only affecting raw files. I can then select a style in camera matching to make them colour but this feels like a bug.

The funny thing is that it's now also affecting the raw photos I shot on that camera from before this issue started. The thumbnails of raw photos I've edited in the past show the colour version but when I click on them they turn B&W. So it's like I've lost the edits I've made! This isn't affecting raw photos I shoot on my Panasonic GX9.

Can anyone help ot advise? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. The app settings for import remain unchanged (Adobe default). And this issue is affecting images that were imported in colour with no issues and in raw format just a couple of weeks ago.

I think this is a bug that specifically affects the raw images from my Olympus on my iPad, as the images appear in colour on my Lightroom iPhone app.

it may be worth checking the App Settings / Import / RAW Default Settings
