This has yet to be solved, because it is still an issue for me 5 years later. Updated font that I have used for 10 years is in Adobe CC and also in Font Book, yet refuses to show up when I go to use it in the watermark edit feature; it shows on my desktop PC but not my Mac, despite all efforts. This is why people are migrating from Adobe to other products...

Could you please share the version of Lightroom you're on, along with the version of your macOS? Also, would you mind confirming the name of the font/foundry, so I can try and replicate this behavior on my end?
