Re: Importing suspected duplicates

Hi, I am trying to upload a specific selection of photos that I know are already somewhere in my Lightroom photos but are all from different places and time frames. So I don't want to search through 1000s of photos to find the ones I want for a project. I simply want to upload the selection I have made. I know they will be duplicates but I don't care, I just want to be able to upload them so they are right in front of me. Is there a way to over-ride it please? I keep being told they are already in Lightroom. Thank you.

Also, a problem is that because I take 1000s of photos, my camera obviously starts up again after 9999 to then start with 0001 again. This means that I have multiple file numbers which are the same. So Lightroom says I have already uploaded, for example, file 0348, but it is a completely different photo and it won't upload it because it says it is already added. Big problems - please can someone help???

Eg. Same trip, same camera, trying to upload same number file (0001). Did not load both photos. So I don't have all my trip photos in Lightroom to edit.

Your screenshot appears to be from Lightroom Desktop (Cloud version) not Lightroom Classic. I recommend that you ask your question in the correct forum. I've provided the link below.
