Re-order images

Hi...sorry if this is a rookie question.  But, I am not able to re-order images in a local folder in Lightoom.  I'm guessing this is something simple but can't seem to find it.  Any guidance would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Default Sorting is Alphabetic sort A>Z,  (Numbers sort before alpha characters), or you can change the sort to [Reverse Order] Z>A in the Sort icon. Then you also have the other options shown- (eg. Capture Date, Modified date)

The File Browser in Lightroom is a very simple 'mirror' of the files as you see them sorted alphabetically in Windows File Explorer. Only renaming the files with File Explorer will change them to a custom alphabetic sort.

You can add Folders to the Favorites list, if that is any help.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Thanks for the response.  I am just simply trying to drag and drop images like these to place them in a different order in this folder.  Would make easier for me to edit and compare.
