Recent photos not showing up in search on iPad

I imported a big batch of photos a couple days ago. They're synced to my Lightroom cloud and I can see them all on my iPad, but searches based on EXIF data aren't working for anything in that batch that I synced (I can see the data when I get info on any specific photo, so I know it's there). For example if I search by the lens focal length, I find older photos I shot with that lens but not the photos from the latest import. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to reset the search function somehow on the iPad app?
