Reduce noise doesnt work

Normally I have a standard preset I put over all my photos which includes reduce noise and it does show that its selected but I can still see the noise like it was before the edit so now I have to redo every photo and it takes very long to process as well. Is it just me or do other people have the same problem? I have the newest version of Lightroom installed (8.4)

Hi @robin_8380, welcome to the community!

Could you share a few more details about the issue? Is it happening with every photo, or just certain ones? And if possible, could you show us a before and after of how your photos look after applying Denoise? That would really help us understand what’s going on.

Thanks so much!
Alek

Hey thankyou! Yes its happening to every photo. I added 2 images the first one is after applying the preset and as you can see the reduce noise is selected but the picture is full of noise. The second one is after I deselect reduce noise and then select reduce noise again and you can see it does what it should do. I have to redo these steps on all my pictures and it takes much time to do so.

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out! Could you please clarify whether you have the AI Denoise in your preset or the Manual Noise Reduction sliders? Suppose you have the AI Denoise in your preset and apply it to multiple images. In that case, it might not trigger the complete AI Denoise process, which requires rendering and can't be synced across multiple images like Manual Noise Reduction.

To be on the safe side, I suggest updating your GPU drivers to the latest Studio version from your GPU manufacturer's website and your Lightroom and Operating System to the latest versions.

Thanks!
