Remote 3rd party editing

Hi folks, I was wondering if there is a wasy in LR to have a 3rd party edit my images in LR? It does not seem to be possible in LRC, so I am asking the question here.

Note: A 3rd Party edit will appear as a 'Version' in the Lightroom catalog.
