With this update app, I am not seeing the aspect ratio button that used to allow me to make a photo smaller without cropping it. I've been paying for this app since 2019 and sudden change just threw me off.

Any help or suggestion of another app that I can use?

You have the new interface enabled. Aspect Ratio is still there on Lightroom Mobile, but it's hidden a bit. First tap on the Crop tool, then tap on the pen icon on the right of 'Auto geometry'. That will bring you to the manual geometry sliders where Aspect is still present.

Something like that should still be in there. Nothing like that has been removed lately.

So can you say a bit more about where it’s missing? Do you mean when cropping, when exporting, etc. Or can you post a screen shot of the part of the application where it’s missing?

It used to be the second or third tab from the right. A slide bar where you can make your photo bigger or smaller. If you go smaller, then you end up with nice white margin.
