Question

Samsung Galaxy S24 series lacks Adobe Lightroom Mobile's HDR feature

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series can capture Super HDR images and videos. It can also display them in Gallery and Instagram apps, but ironically Galaxy S24 series users cannot access the HDR feature of Adobe Lightroom Mobile. Considering all this, why doesn't Adobe bring this feature to the S24 series? I think Adobe should introduce this feature to these devices as quickly as possible.

Adobe is like a turtle about this kind of things. We have an army in our hands with Samsung S24 Ultra HDR10+ screen, which is perfectly capable of showing HDR when we need to edit something, but we give toothpicks instead of guns for a war.

June 2024 and still no HDR support for Samsung S24Ultra.

I have been capturing RAW images with MotionCam app, and editing them in Lightroom Mobile. Everything does actually work as expected, including HDR saves, however, one must "guess" it, as the HDR is clamped when editing, as Lightroom doesn't "think" the S24Ultra can show HDR. This is VERY annoying, and limits any actual editing capacity, however, we need this feature, as taking RAW images with MotionCam, then running them through Lightroom, is by far the cleanest way to generate UltraHDR JPEG images.

PLEASE add support for the Samsung phones for HDR... They are perfectly capable of correctly displaying HDR within editing.

I have just come across the same issue with my s23 ultra. There is no need for it to not be available for us!
