Saving from lightroom back to Ps

Hello,

I usually elopement files in LR, select those to edit in PS, open in PS (via LR) then hit "save" and the files are saved back to LR. Now I am getting a msg that it is not possible to do this and the file is saved as a Psdc file (and I have no idea where it went). I need it back in LR so I have all files together. Can anyone help?

also, does Adobe have a help service? I can't find it

Check your Photoshop Preferences and make sure you are not defaulting to saving in the cloud. PSDC is a cloud document format.
