“Scrolling” with touch no longer works on iPad

In previous version on iPad I could touch the bar on the right and quickly scroll through the images. In the latest update, the bar is thinner and have no feedback when touched and trying to swipe up an down. Scrolling through images takes forever without this option. Is there a workaround for this?

It is working correctly here. 

 

Before moving the slider handle, you need to Press and Hold until you receive the haptic feedback. Then, it will scroll as you expect.

    Thanks! This works, although it needs to be a little precise positioning of the finger so I don't end up selecting the image or doesn't hit the screen at all.

    This has still not come back to the iPad app. It works other places and was there before. Scrolling is so tedious in a large album instead of hold and drag a slider. There has to be a way to do this that I am missing! Does anyone have some tips?

    You can scroll by making a swipe movement anywhere in the image grid. That tiny scroll bar is probably more to show you where you are than a classic scroll bar like you have on a computer. I do agree it's difficult to use it (despite of what Rikk says). Maybe my fingers are too thick.
