Question

‘Search’ is STILL missing lenses

I'm entering this as a 'Bug', because that's the only explanation for this terribly faulting search.

Because Lightroom has still has not been given the ability to 'Filter' by lens (duh! it's a no-brainer!), users are required to 'Search' for 'Lens', and it returns only a few of the lenses I've used to make photographs. Interestingly, the lenses on the list are listed the same way they appear in the Metadata, so Lightroom must be accessing that data in its Search, yet, not even the lens used to make the photo directly in the background of my attached file is listed. Definitely a BUG!

Lightroom version 10.3.0 9B89DD/197

iPad version: 11" iPad Pro M1

iPadOS: 18.4.1

To reproduce this BUG, simply type 'Lens' into the Search.

Not a bug - moving to discussions.

You have to type "Lens:"

Thanks, Rick, but here's the rub--One can search FOREVER on the web for a solution to "search for lens in Lightroom for iPad" and NOT come up with a solution. The searches turn up everything one needs to know about Lightroom CC, but not the iPad version specifically.
