Hi Pete,

Sorry to hear that you are getting an error message while trying to use the the sky or subject mask in Lightroom. We're here to help.

Could you please share the version of Lightroom (Help > About Lightroom) and the version of the operating system on your computer? Are your graphic drivers up-to-date? Can you re-download and install them? Have you recently imported any images into Adobe Lightroom? Since when are you seeing this issue? Is it happening with particular file formats?

Have you tried any troubleshooting?

Please try the steps mentioned in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html#solution-4.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.
