Settings, error message

Whenever I open the document after hours of editing, this message comes up. Settings cannot be loaded. The settings on this photo are too large for this device. I chatted with an agent, but they couldn't give me an answer. I want to know what is triggering this error. And I cannot find any explanation for this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
