Sharing from Lightroom CC

I shared a lik from Lr CC to two persons who have not got an Adobe ID. Wanted to se how they reacted. Both said: Why don't you send the photos as usual through Google photo? One of them said that he didn't want to share his date o f birth which Adobe. The other person signed in with Google but was denied access to the link. None of them has yet seen my pictures.

I won't try again. Why does Adobe do this to us!!? It would be so nice and also practical sending my pictures this way.Specialy as the layout looks so nice in the albums Lightroom creates and I want to share.
