Question

Sharing the output of denoise (dng) without also sharing the previous raw image

I love the new denoise capablity in Lightroom.  I use the Web version of lightroom not CC.  After I process the image with Denoise, Lightroom creates a new image in the DNG format and preserves the old Raw image.  In the filmstrip, I can see the number 2 in the upper right hand of each photo.  So far so good.  The new photo is much higher quality and I love the feature.

This is the problem.  When I share the album, Lightroom shares BOTH photos, the raw (old) and the dng (new).  As you can imagine, sharing the photo album which contains both the "before" and the "after" version of the photos is not desired.  Just the "after" version please.  What am I doing wrong?  Or, is this a consequence of an early release of a new capability and sharing is hoped to catch up?

"  I use the Web version of lightroom not CC."

This doesn't make sense to me. Lightroom Web does not have Denoise. Lightroom does not have a version called CC.  Can you go to the Lightroom application where you are making the Denoise operation happen, and go to Help>System Info… and get us the exact-installed version of Lightroom? I suspect you have Lightroom Desktop  6.3. Can you confirm?

If so, the solution is to move the pre-denoise image out of the shared album.  You will need to ungroup the Stack in order to separate the images first. Shift + CMD + G

You are right.  Adobe Photoshop Lightroom v. 6.3.1  on the Mac.
