Shortcuts stop working

Question

I installed the latest version of Adobe Lightroom and now my keyboard shortcuts stop working at mid session. When I open Lightroom, everything works, but after a few minutes most the shortcuts simply won't work anymore.

I have to shut down the application and open it again. It is quite annoying....

I'll need more details to help you. What version of Lightroom and Windows are you using? Does this happen with a software or application update? Has this occurred before? Do keyboard shortcuts work in other applications?

If they do, try resetting the Lightroom preferences.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.

2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.

3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.

4. Close Lightroom.

5. Restart Lightroom.
