since LR update slow and unresponsive at times

Since the last LR update images flicker, panel flickers and slow to respond. No issues prior to update. All updates have been done. Windows operating system.

I believe the issues was a CPU upgrade as well as a fully functional HDR
monitor. At this time it seems to have done the trick. I appreciate the
help. Sorry for the delay I was flying.

Hey, @jamesf99153954. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share the system info from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

 

Does this happen after a series of steps? Test some variables like:

  • Temporarily, unplug extra displays & only keep one active at a time. 
  • Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it off if it is on Custom or Auto. If this shows any differences, please check this article to troubleshoot further: https://adobe.ly/3uYiJo4
