Sluggishness when using monotype

Hello --

We have multiple users experiencing sluggishness with Monotype running with the Adobe Suite. The sluggishness resolves when Monotype is signed out and then quitthe application. How exactly do the two applications interact with one another? Has anyone else seen this behavior and is there a known fix?
