Solutions for Geotagging

There's plenty of posts here about the lack of geotagging support in Lightroom CC. It'd be nice to hear about how users are working around this in their daily workflows.

Personally, I'm using exiftool and google maps to set the metadata myself prior to importing. I'm looking into ways of automating this with, maybe, apple's Automator. 

What are others using/doing?
