Special/Accent characters in Portuguese (or Spanish, French etc)

Hello folks. Since around 2 months ago, I am unable to use Accented Characters/Letter for any folder or album I create. For exemplo: If I want to create a folder under the name FAMÍLIA (Family in Portuguese), Adobe LightRoom no my MAC does not allow it. Other examples are: ATENÇÃO ( Attention in Portugues). My current vertion is 7.1.2 (updated today to try to solve it). And very import: 1) If I try to type these words in anyother application in my MAC, it works fine; 2) If I try to type these words in the Adobe Lightroom WEB, it works fine, 3) If I try to type these words in Adobe Lightroom MOBILE/ANDROID, it works fine as well, 4) If I try to type these words in the GOOGLE DOCs works fine as well and 5) The same for any email tool, any editor, anything.

Any suggestion? Thank you all
