Stacked images are moved to the bottom of the album after creating the stack
When creating a stack of images, Lightroom will create the stack but it will move the stack to the last "image" in the album. Then you have to painstakingly move the stack back to its original place in the album.
When the stack is created, Lightroom should just leave the stack where the original individual images were.
