Stuck on importing from SD card - Lightroom Mobile (iPad)

Every time I import photos from an SD card into Lightroom mobile on my iPad Pro (2nd gen) it only imports a portion of the photos (about half) and then fails on the remaining half. Anyone come across this? Anything I can do to improve the import process? It's painful!

Hi,

which iOS version are you encountering this on?
What might help is to wait until the compelete count of the images on the SD card has finished.

This is currently occuring on iOS 14.4 running on an 3rd Generation iPad Pro, althought it has happened before in earlier versions of iOS as well. I'm pretty sure I've waited until all images have been counted, but I will watch for this in the future to be sure.

Do you think it could be my SD card?
