sub-folder question

Hi. In the past, I have always created my image folders with year, month, event. Since I got my new computer, I can't seem to get lightroom to let me just do those folders. It lets me create those folders, but THEN it makes all these other folders by year/month/day within the folders I created. I don't want those in there...it creates more folders than I want to have to sort through.

 

Can someone help me figure out how to make lightroom NOT make extra folders? Thank you.

    Check the 'Organize' field in the import dialog. If you do not want Lightroom to create dated folders, then you have to set this to "Into one folder".
