Question

Sync enabled, but NO data sent to the cloud

Hello everyone,

I have about twenty collections (not dynamic) synchronized between Lightroom Classic and Lightroom CC, or 1529 photos.

It turns out that Lightroom confirms that the photos are synchronized and I can access them from the mobile app.

Only it seems that they are renderings and not original files.

Indeed, since the beginning I remain still and always 0 byte used on the 20 go that I have available for the cloud.

Please, I tried everything, how to unlock this situation?

Thank you.

Hi there,

As explained above Lightroom Classic can only sync previews to the cloud. However, If you sync images from Lightroom's desktop version then the original images will be synced and they will take up the cloud space. Look here for more information on this: How to sync Lightroom Classic photos with Lightroom

Regards,
Sahil

Thank you very much for your answer.

In this case, can you explain to me how to store in the cloud? (see my screenshot)

I know this article (your URL) and I have already checked everything, but still no upload to the cloud .

In the English version, it is the first option under the File menu, Add photos. You don't upload photos, you add them.

Lightroom Classic only syncs Smart Previews to the Cloud, not full size Originals.

Furthermore, unless it has changed, Smart Previews are not counted against your Cloud Storage data quota.
