Sync file stuck - not able to share to community

I like to share my edits to the Lightroom community gallery to get feed back, interact and learn new tricks.

I do all of this via my iPad, which mostly connects via my iPhone hotspot, so sync is always on pause.

But the share to the community option is grayed out, google tells me is because the file I am trying to share has not been sync, because I have a back log of 2k+ files that have not been sync, sync is on pause.

I don't want to sync those files anyways, they are just going to overflow my cloud space.

I read I could do a search/filter by sync status, and delete those files that are waiting to be sync, were on the mobile version of Lr installed on my iPad, I do not see that option to filter by sync status.

I cleared the cash, but I just don't seem to be able to get rid of those files that I do not want to sync.

I do not want to sync every file that I import via my memory card reader.

I should be able to import files locally, view them, rate them, and then only sync those that have 5 stars and the rest to just stay locally to be deleted eventually, what is the sequence or particular settings that I have to do to accomplish that work flow ?

But, on the mean time, I just need to be able to get rid off those files that are there pending awaiting to be sync.

Can someone show me the steps please...

Hi @Lokitoz, thanks for reaching out!
If you have access to a laptop or desktop, you can use Lightroom Desktop to filter images by sync status. In the cloud-based Lightroom apps (everything except Lightroom Classic), there isn’t an option to selectively choose which files sync, so you’d need to delete the files you don’t want synced.
Just a heads-up: if you delete a photo from the Lightroom cloud, it will also be removed from all devices connected to your account. Lightroom Desktop uses a cloud-first approach, so your library is stored in the cloud and mirrored across devices. If you’d like to keep a copy locally before deleting, make sure to export the photo to your computer first.
You can read more about syncing Lightroom Classic collections with the rest of the Lightroom ecosystem here:

I read that LrC which I never use, can have collections that do not sync or do sync.

I open my current LrC on my PC, only about 100 files, not my whole library, so it is not syncing either, I rated about 20 images 5 start and created a smart collection out of that, but I did not see any options to make that collection to sync or not to sync, how can I set a collection to sync or not to sync and make it show up on Lr Mobile ?

I read on google that on LrC on my PC I can create collections designed to sync and not to sync and eventually they will show up on Lr Mobile and it will obey the rules.
