"Sync Pending" never ends, Lightroom unuseable

Question

LIghtroom is in "Sync pending", eats CPU, does IO, and never finishes.

I gave it ~ 40 hours over several days to sort itself out. I have gigabit internet.

I reinstalled lightroom.

Problem continues.
Could not deinstall / reinstall the whole Adobe suite because of the other error I posted.

In "Options" the calculation never finishes

It does crazy SSD-killing IO on a disk it has no business accessing (AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom CC\Data\), as I set it to have its cache on another disk.

If you're certain that some files are stuck in the Sync queue, we can figure that out using the Diagnostic report.

Please go to Edit > Preferences >Account > press and hold the ALT key and select Diagnostic Log.

Then, please share this diagnostic log with me via direct message.

You can also check Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4eF2E7u) and look for the Deleted Section and the Sync issues tab (if they exist). Emptying both of these has helped in the past. Before emptying these tabs, ensure you have backups for the images.
