Synching photos to the cloud...can I do it directly from Lightroom?

I am paying for extra storage in the Creative Cloud, but I don't seem to be able to synch photos directly from Lightroom.  Do I have to export them to my hard drive (just like I do when I want to post to iNaturalist or send in an email) or can I do this from within Lightroom Classic?

Thanks for any help.

Lightroom Classic does not need extra cloud storage, because it does not sync original images to the cloud. It can sync smart previews of images if you place these images in a synced collection (not all images sync, only images placed in a synced collection do), but smart previews do not count against your cloud storage allocation. https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/lightroom-mobile-desktop-features.html
