Synchronization of Presets and Profiles on Lightroom Mobile

Hello everyone!

I'm using both the desktop and mobile versions of Lightroom, and I've synced my presets and profiles through Adobe Creative Cloud so I can use them on Lightroom Mobile as well. I would like to know what happens to my presets, and especially to my profiles on Lightroom Mobile, if my Creative Cloud subscription expires.

Specifically, I'm wondering whether I will lose access to the presets and profiles already synced on Mobile or if I will still be able to use them without an active subscription. Additionally, are there any alternatives to keep the sync without a subscription plan?

Hi @voidlume! Welcome to the community! 

If your plan that includes cloud storage expires, you'll receive an email notification that your Lightroom Cloud content will be permanently deleted in 30 days.

To make sure you don't lose your photos and videos, you can either extend your subscription or use the Lightroom downloader tool to download your content for safekeeping before it’s deleted.

Deletion does not affect:

- Discover edits that you’ve shared publicly in-app
- Lightroom presets that you've created
- Your photos, videos, and other content associated with other Adobe Creative Cloud apps

So, if I have uploaded my presets and profiles and I have them on both Desktop and Mobile, once my subscription expires, my presets and profiles won’t disappear from the mobile version? And if I install the app on another device after my subscription has expired, will I still find my presets and profiles?

 

What matters most to me is having the guarantee that the profiles won’t be deleted so that I can continue using them on Mobile even after canceling my subscription. I can manually save the presets from DNG files, but profiles can only be transferred through sync.

The free version of the mobile app stores everything locally. If you install the mobile app on another device, then that new installation will not have your presets and profiles unless you restore the new device from a backup of the old device.
