Syncing select photos from Lightroom to Lightroom Classic

I'm relatively new to using Lightroom CC.  Is there a way to sync only select photos from Lightroom CC to Lightroom Classic? I don't want to sync my entire photo library from Adobe cloud and eat up that much space on my hard drive.

Only option is to NOT sync Lightroom-Classic. Never turn Sync 'on'.

Export the selected photos from Lightroom-Desktop (Cloud version 6.5) to a local folder, Import these exported files to the LrC Catalog.

No, there is no selective sync down from

the Cloud.

 

Everything in the Cloud will download to the location set in Classic's Preferences.
