The lightroom turns off as soon as it runs.

Please tell us:

• What Lightroom version do you have?
• What OS and OS version you are running?
• What do you see on screen - is the program loading first and then quits?
• Are there any error messages?

Is it possible you are seeing this error? I believe a fix has been released now:
