Depuis que j’ai installé la mise à jour, la notation marche une fois sur deux et le logiciel marche au ralentit

    I forgot to mention that for the first 5-star rating you give a photo, it will work fine (as in, it sorts itself in the order and the rating remains), but when you do the same with the second, third, fourth photo, it gets hung up.

    Thanks for the additional details and for confirming the behavior you’re seeing. That extra information is helpful.

    We haven’t been able to reproduce this issue on our end yet, so could you please share the information I requested earlier? Specifically:

    • A short screen recording showing the workflow:
      • Apply a star rating
      • Sort by Star Rating
      • Continue rating additional photos
      • Show the ratings no longer sorting correctly and disappearing after restarting (if possible)
    • Your System Info. Go to Help > System Info and copy & paste it here.

    Also, could you confirm:

    • Does this happen with all photos or only certain file types (RAW, JPEG, TIFF, etc.)?
    • Is everything fully synced and visible on Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com)?
    • If you perform the same rating workflow in Lightroom Web, do you see the same behavior?

    The screen recording and System Info will help us compare your workflow with our test environment and try to reproduce the issue.

    I am having the same issue too, Adobe Team. It happened after the last update a few days ago. Please let us know of a fix.

     

    In LR Cloud, when you add a 5-star rating, then you sort by “Star Rating,” then rating system doesn’t work/sort. It will first remain as 5-star but not sort itself in the order you tell it to (it won’t move to the far right/left side of the grid, like it just doesn’t get sorted in the order)...then it gets hung up, as in once you restart, the assigned rating is gone.

    Thank you for updating to Lightroom 9.4 and for sharing your experience. We haven’t been able to reproduce the behavior where ratings only register intermittently. Could you please help us with a few things:

    • Share a short screen recording showing your workflow and the rating issue occurring

    • Share your System Info: Help > System Info and copy & paste it here.
     

    Also, could you confirm:

    • Does this happen with all photos or only specific files/file formats? (RAW, JPEG, TIFF, etc.)

    • Is everything fully synced and visible on Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4uOEwYv)?

    • If you view the same photos on Lightroom Web, do you see the same rating behavior there?
     

    One additional thing to try:

    • Go to Preferences > Performance

    • Change the GPU setting (for example, Auto > Off, or Auto > Custom depending on your current setting)

    • Restart Lightroom and test again
     

    Please let us know whether changing the GPU setting makes any difference.
     

    Once we have the screen recording and System Info, we’ll be able to investigate this further.
