I have photos on an SSD from which I have imported and edited in Lightroom Classic with no problems. When I try to browse these same photos from the same SSD using Lightoom Desktop I receive the following message. " This Folder Does Not Contain Editable Files ".Can anyone please explain what is happening and how to rectify.

Thanks

You need to allow 'Full Disk Access' in MacOS. Acces for files and folders is no longer sufficient.

I have read all the replies and have been having trouble with this issue for some time now using Lightroom Desktop 8.5.1 on Mac OS Seq. 15.6.1 - I have formatted a new SDD external drive using APFS format copied all my recent files on another SDD ext. Drive.. have given all rights to everyone and shareable using Info but am not able to read files getting the same error above! in the past when this happened somehow it would allow access to these RAW files but his time been struggling with no access my RAW pics? Have logged out and back in but this did not help as well..!!

Wow. You posted in March and still have not had a response. I am having the same problem. I recently made the decision to start working w/ Lightroom desktop, instead of LR Classic, which I suspect is going away. My operating system is Sonoma 14.5, and my CC apps are all up to date as of 7.25.24. I have most of my files are on my hard drive, few in the cloud. I have allowed access to files/folders/volumes for LR, and have entered the folder which contain my original files. All files work on LRC and PS, so what is the deal? Attached is a screen shot of message. Help!

I allowed full disk and files and folders access.
