If i had another decent alternative option than lightroom I am this close to switching to a new program. I swear every day I loose time redoing things over. Why cant there be an auto save feature?

Hi @marcell_kh,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience. If the reinstall doesn’t resolve the crashes, could you please share:

  • A copy of your System Info from the Help > System Info menu.

  • Submit the crash report using the account you’ve signed in to the community with, so we can track it. Check here for more steps: https://adobe.ly/46kzfyJ

In the meantime, a few quick steps worth testing:

  • Reset Lightroom preferences: https://adobe.ly/4pxpKDP

  • Toggle GPU acceleration in Preferences > Performance (test both Off and Auto).

  • Ensure your graphics driver and operating system are fully up to date.

  • Could you check if the crashes still happen in a new, empty catalog with just a few images when using lens blur?

This info will help us narrow down whether it’s catalog-specific, GPU-related, or a wider issue.

Best,

Anshul Saini

hi @Anshul_Saini , thanks for the respond ,
that exactly what i did after reinstalling it, i updated the drivers ,it workes better but i think the program isnt fully optimized for the new intel arc ... its espicially noticable when turning on the gpu acceleration.

after updating the program still crashed but after a while of working ,not so often..

Hey, @Awesome_days6109. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out.

I couldn't find crash reports submitted with the account you've signed in to the community with. If you see a crash dialogue, submit it with your Adobe ID. Check here for more steps: https://adobe.ly/3Wpjx0B

What specific application are you working on? You have not yet mentioned which version of Lightroom or Lightroom Classic you are working on. Before Lightroom crashes next time, please share the system information from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Does the app crash after a series of steps or development operations?

Awaiting to hear from you.

Thanks!
