Transfer Lightroom 6.4 Photos from Macbook to Lightroom Classic on Windows PC

I just purchased a Macbook Air with M2 chip and have Lightroom 6.4 (Adobe says that Classic is not supported on the Ventura OS) and Photoshop 24.7.0 installed. When travelling, I will first cull images using Photo Mechanic and then transfer the rated images to Lightroom for editing in LR and PS.

I will edit images on the Macbook but then want to transfer the processed images to my desktop Windows 10 pc. The PC has Lightroom Classic and Photoshop 24.7.0 installed. I am not interested in syncing libraries across devices.

What would be the best way to do the transfer?

Lightroom Classic works just fine on my Macbook Air with Ventura. Thank you all for your feedback.

Adobe says that Classic is not supported on the Ventura OS

To be clear, the current version of Classic definitely runs on Ventura. Today's Macs are sold with Ventura so Adobe ensures that current versions of their apps are compatible and supported.

There are some known issues which Adobe is gradually addressing with updates.

I doubt that very much (I am a Windows person 🙂 ). (Are you possibly looking at info about the old perpetual v6 that cannot be installed?)

Then you can only NEVER turn on the [Sync] in Lightroom-Classic. And use Lightroom-Desktop to [Export] derivative (copy) files on the Windows-PC that you can then [Import] to the LrC catalog.

You are syncing Lightroom files to the Cloud already for multiple devices, why not sync LrC and let the images automatically download to the Windows-PC catalog?

Here is the Adobe link about Lightroom Classic compatibility with Mac OS Ventura:

The first part says there are known issues. The second part says that legacy versions are not supported.

Also, when I originally went to the Adobe website to download Lightroom it did not give me a choice – the download was Lightroom 6.4. However, I just went to the Lightroom Classic download page and was able to download Lightroom Classic Version 12.4 onto my Macbook. I will try it out and see if I discover any issues.
