Good morning, I have an old LR and LR classic recently installed on another computer.

I would like to transfer the photos from Lr to LR classic without to loose the work I have done on my pictures. So far, I did transfer the images but it is as raw and the work is lost. Any solution ?

My blog may help, which also has a link to an Adobe video tutorial. Let us know if you get any problems re-connecting files & folders.

The editing is stored in the catalog. Maybe you re-imported the photos, which is wrong.

If you have copied your catalog to the Pictures folder (NamedCatalog.lrcat) us the Lightroom Classic menu:

File >> Open Catalog

Navigate to, and choose the named catalog.

If the older version is LR5 or LR6 you will need to copy the catalog file (.lrcat) usually found in Pictures/Lightroom and then open it in Lightroom Classic. You should be prompted to convert the older catalog.
