Transfering RAW files to iPad Air

Hello everyone,

is it possible to attach card reader via usb C and transfer RAW files directly from SD or miniSD card to Lightroom on ipad AIR? I can't find direct confirmation of that option anywhere, and I'm wondering weather to buy iPad. I'm working with Canon 5d mkIII (no wireless transmition) and gopro 9.
