Trouble uploading photos to Lightroom CC

Hello everyone! I am need some HELP as I am having trouble with Lightroom CC. I have used Lightroom CC for about two years and it is amazing! I have the plan of 20 GB of space. I have been able to import up to a 1000-1500 photos to edit on lightroom. This past week though, it will NOT allow me to download any more photos. My space is practically empty (as I have only 40 RAW images imported onto LR at the moment). This is a BIG problem for me because I have a photography business and have 2 sessions I need to finish editing now!! I tried many things and nothing will work. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? I can go into my folders and select images, but when I try to import them, it tells me that I have no more disk space left and I need an additional amount of such and such GBs. I have also gone to my preferences and tried to move around the amount local space but nothing will help. I am SO confused and don't know what to do. Please help.

      That sounds like the problem is local disk space and not cloud space. How much space do you have on your hard disk on your computer?

      Have you recently updated your Mac?  I'm having the same problems.

      That sounds like the problem is local disk space and not cloud space. How much space do you have on your hard disk on your computer?

      It says 196 MB free of 444 GB. So I don't have much space left. Is that the problem? If I download my things onto a hardrive and delete from my computer to create more space, will that fix the problem?

      Yes that is definitely the problem. You need at least 20% of your hard disk to be free for trouble free operation. Moving some stuff off of your hard drive to an external will help. Even though Lightroom CC stores everything in the cloud when you import images into it it first copies them to your system hard disk before it uploads them to the cloud. Only after uploading will it delete any files from local storage.
