Two questions, but only one counts

I have two questions about Lightroom mobile:

1.  Does Adobe care whether I use their product or a competing product? 

I've already deduced from the difficulty in getting an answer to question 2 that the answer to Q1 is NO.  Therefore, Q2 really doesn't matter.  I'll just keep on running a competing product on my tablet.

2.  I was interested in running Lightroom mobile on my Android tablet, but needed to know if Lightroom can access the storage space on the SD card.  (RAW files are going to fill up the internal storage pretty quickly)  Ran into a problem with this the last time I tried a Lr demo.
