Unable to Import Camera Roll Photos to Lightroom App Photo Album.

I am unable to import my selected photos (from camera roll) to my Lightroom (app) photo alumn. After I select my imagines and press "-add" the album says it is empty. I have tried to delete the app and redownload and am unsuccessful. 

note- I am doing this all on my iPhone with the latest Lightroom App.
