Hi @Kevin_kevin02240,
Thanks for confirming and for sharing the screenshots, that helps clarify the situation. Please try the steps below:
Try installing the Windows Media Feature Pack that is missing from Windows N or KN editions.
If the above step didn't work, try resetting Lightroom preferences:
• Close Lightroom and Creative Cloud
• Relaunch Lightroom while holding Shift + Alt
• Confirm the reset when prompted
If Lightroom doesn't open at all after a reset, then let's try a clean reinstall of Lightroom (check on Lr Web first and see if all your images are there before proceeding with this)
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
• Select Lightroom and Camera Raw
• Restart your system
• Reinstall Lightroom fresh from Creative Cloud
Let us know how it goes.
Best regards,
Anshul Saini
Hi @Anshul_Saini @Noel Orridge ,
Thanks to both of you for the suggestions!
I think I've found the root cause: the installation path for Lightroom contained non-English characters, which likely prevented the program from opening correctly.
I’m now able to open Lightroom and edit my photos without any issues.
