Hi @AGNES_TABOURET5901,

I'm glad you were able to get Lightroom running again. Since Lightroom is now launching but is performing very slowly, could you let us know:

Please go to Help > System Info, click Copy, and paste the contents here.
Does the slowness occur throughout the app (launching, browsing, editing, exporting), or only during specific tasks?

That will help us better understand your setup and investigate further.

Best,

Hi @AGNES_TABOURET5901

I'm sorry for this experience. I'm hopeful that the issue has been resolved by now. If not, could you please share a few more details so we can investigate further?

What operating system are you using, and which version of Lightroom is installed?
Do you see any error messages, error codes, or crash reports?
You mentioned that some files have disappeared. Could you let us know where those files were originally stored (for example, on your local device, an external drive, or cloud storage)?
If you're using Lightroom on desktop, please try launching it while holding the Shift + Option keys (on macOS), or the Alt key (on Windows), and allow resetting preferences, then let us know how it goes.

These details will help us better understand the issue and assist you more effectively.
