Unable to send photos to Google Photos

The latest releases of Lr Mobile and Lr web are riddled with bugs. It's so frustrating as I've had photos from August which I'm unable to complete. The share to Google Photos option simply doesn't work at all from the Web version irrespective of what device or browser is used. It works for a single photo but not when many are selected. The box to connect simply doesn't appear. You can replicate by selecting several photos and then choosing the Send to Google Photos option from the bottom right. Nothing happens. I've tried several machines and several browsers including Chrome, Edge, Samsung and Brave. 

 

Annoyingly the option works on my phone but the ability to select multiple photos at once also no longer works so I have to tediously select the photos one at a time. Not ideal when there's several hundred. 

 

It's really not good enough for a paid premium product.

    Thanks for testing this and your reply Sameer. Unfortunately it’s the dialog box that never appears so I’m not able to disconnect from my Google account. When I select multiple images the Google Photos dialog box simply doesn't pop up at all. It used to work fine with the old share shortcut at the top right of the screen but since it’s moved to the bottom right it no longer works.

    Thanks for the update. I tried with up to 50 images, and it worked. Would you mind trying a different browser, or at least resetting all permissions for Lightroom Web from the page settings?

    Hey, @Dee Granger. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

    I've just tried this with 16 images from LR to Google Photos, and it worked.

    Could you try the following:

    1 - In Lightroom Web > Select your images > Send To > Google Photos

    2 - At the corner of the dialog box, click on 'Disconnect' from your Google Account.

    3 - Reconnect to Google Photos.


    I frequently use the feature, but I recently had to revoke permissions from Google's end too: https://adobe.ly/4xPFgxW
    It may be worth a try, but it is a nuclear option.
