You have completely changed my interface and I can't get the program to work at all. I don't want my photos to go to the cloud. I am not paying anything else and I don't want my photos in the wild. This new program will not even see the photos in my folders. All I am getting is a spinning wheel. 

 

Y'all have broken the program with your constant updating and I have no clue how to even proceed with opening a photo much less editing one.

It sounds like you've installed Lightroom Desktop instead of Lightroom Classic. Without more information it is hard to understand what you are talking about. 

 

Please go to Help>System Info… and provide us with your software's installed version number.
