Update in Photography shows pictures that are blank

I attempted to install the latest Photography update, and I lost most of my catalog and what there is shows a previous group of flowers taken with my macro lens some time ago.  I do not show any photos of my granddaughter taken at her USA National Hockey tournament taken recently? What has happened to my photos and how can I get them back.  I am running Windows 10.
