Updates error from Lightroom

When I clicked the button "Updates" from "Help" menu, I got the following error "

There is no application set to open the URL auphd://update?sapCode=LRCC&baseVersion=1.0&platform=osx10-64."

How could I fix it ?

Thanks.

The app is already fully up-to-date, so there is no need to check for updates (though I agree it shouldn't be issuing that error message).

And all that the "Updates" option will do, if it's working correctly, would be to close the Lightroom app and open the Creative Cloud desktop app, which you can do yourself...that app will tell you when a new update is available, and will take care of the download and installation of the update. There's even an option in the Creative Cloud app to have app updates automatically installed.

Yes. I could do update myself by opening the Creative Cloud desktop app. I am just wondering why the error was prompted, and it was not shown before I migrated from Macbook Air to Macbook Pro.

Anyway, hope that the next version will fix the error, and I could live by opening the Creative Cloud app myself periodically to see if there is any update.

Please specify which exact version of Lightroom you are currently using - this can also be found in the Help Menu/ System information.

I assume you are not using Lightroom Classic, and possibly an old version of Lightroom (former CC).

Sorry for misleading information, my Adobe Lightroom is the latest version 6.3.1, and it should not be a classic one but the MacOS version coming with my Adobe subscription plan.
