Upgrade from LR 6 to 6.12

So I have Lightroom 6, which I bought 2 years ago. But I recently got a new camera (Canon 6D mk II) that uses CR2-RAW files that my lightroom can't read. I need Lightroom 6.12 at least but I can't find the upgrade anywhere. Today I read that you can ask for an upgrade, provided you have proof of your LR purchase which I bought at a store on cd. Will this suffice or is there no way anymore to upgrade? Because there's no way I'm paying €12 or so a month for an app I don't use that often...

You may be able to download 6.14 from- 6.14 PRODESIGN DOWNLOADS 

Adobe does not provide the downloads any more.

MMh, if I click on your link and then on "Adobe Lightroom 6.14 + CC 2015.14 Complete **", 

it says Acces Denied, I don't have permission... Do you know why?
