Upload fotos programmatically

Is there a way to access the cloud storage for Lightroom CC programmatically? I don't see any way to write plugins.

What I want to achieve is to upload all my pictures keeping the folder structure. As of now, everything will be flat when imported. I would have to create all folders and albums manually.

Hi daniels3257036,

Lightroom CC stores the images in albums as you upload them. You can access your library on Lightroom web Photo Editor | Online Photoshop Lightroom that gives you more control over it.

However there is no such plugin available to achieve this.

I'd recommend you to suggest this as a feature request on our Feedback community here: Lightroom CC | Photoshop Family Customer Community

What you could do is:

  1. Import folders into Lightroom Classic - ie into real Lightroom
  2. Drag folders into the Collections panel
  3. Sync each collection, so smart previews and Collections/Albums will be synced
  4. When that finishes, import the files into "Lightroom CC", the new Mac/PC application, which will now sync originals to the cloud and match them up to the smart previews from step 3

Hi John

Thank you for your answer. Would that keep the subfolder structure or flatten it as well? I only have a subscription for Lightroom CC but not for the classic version. Would be a shame, if I had to buy it for this "little" feature.

Adobe have failed to implement syncing of the real Lightroom's collection structures, so the subfolder structure would be flattened.

Hi Akash

Thank you for your answer. I will create a feature request but I doubt that it will be done in the near future. So I'd be willing to write a plugin myself but is it possible? I only see a plugin interface for Lightroom classic.
