Upload photos from my SSD drive to Lightroom Classic

Question

I can’t upload photos from my SSD drive to Lightroom Classic anymore since updating my Mac laptop. Does anyone know how to fix this? Lightroom especially freezes when I try to import large batches of photos.

Please share the system info from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

Does this happen when you import images from a specific location? Is the catalog stored on an internal or external drive?

As a quick test, create a new catalog (File menu > Create New Catalog) placed in the Internal drive & import 30-40 images, and check how it goes.
